Ganache is one of those all utility things that can really make many things taste and look a lot better.
Sugar Free Ganache
I have taken the standard Ganache recipe and made it a lower sugar alternative. It still tastes just as good if you ask me.
This recipe uses a double boiler.
Don’t have one? Yes, it isn’t 1959 and not every kitchen has a double boiler right? Anyway, not problem. I just used a large pot full of water that I boiled and then took a smaller pot with my chocolate which I placed on top and used that as my double boiler.
Here is how to make Ganache
To make this fully sugar free, make sure that there is no sugar in your yogurt, chocolate and other items added for flavor.
- 8 ounces Sugar Free Chocolate- bar or chips, can combine
- 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract or another extract or rum or coffee
