I can’t think of a nicer smell than the smell of warm chocolate chip cookies just out of the oven.
Okay. Maybe fresh baked bread can beat the smell of fresh chocolate cookies depending on my mood.
Basic Sugar Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
Can you smell them?
I usually post cookie recipes that are low in carbohydrates.
When I do make cookies that are low in carbs, I usually use a low carb baking mix that already has salt in it and baking soda.
This recipe is not low carb.
I will be using all purpose flour in this. I will also be adding my own salt and baking soda. The flour will be what is adding the majority of carbs to this. You can sub in a low carb flour if you have any concerns about the carbs.
The only thing that this recipe differs from the regular basic chocolate chip cookie recipe is that this one is sugar free.
Sometimes, you just have to have the basic chocolate chip cookie.
There is some comfort in the cookie that we baked and enjoyed as a child. While we can still also love the cookie with all of the extra added ingredients to make it special, we can still appreciate the basic chocolate chip cookie that we grew up with. Right?
