This is the perfect easy appetizer to serve with others.
Not only is this an easy recipe to make, it is also one that tastes good.

Did you try my recipe for 5 Ingredient Buffalo Dip?

That delicious dip recipe for buffalo dip is also low in carbohydrates.
However, this recipe for a low carb dip is an easier one to make.

Make your own low carbohydrate and keto crackers that can be eaten with this recipe. I have some recipes for low carb crackers that you can use to do so.

This recipe is especially for anyone asking what dips to use on keto.

Followers of the keto diet know that the carbohydrates should be low or nonexistent in the food that they eat.
So making a Cheese Ball recipe that can be used as a dip or a spread, such as this one, is perfect for followers of the diet.

This recipe is based upon cheese.

The base for the other ingredients is basic cream cheese. However, using a lower fat version is okay if you are looking to cut down the fat content in this recipe.

You may be asking what cheese has the fewest carbs.

I am using cheddar cheese in this recipe as I am a fan of cheddar cheese.
As far as I am concerned, the sharper the better when it comes to cheddar.

After following the low carb diet for a long time I can tell you that you do have many options for cheese.

In fact, most hard cheeses that are at full fat have no to very few carbs in them.
However, when other ingredients are added to the cheese, or if it is a softer cheese, there will be a few more carbs in the cheese.

Fold the ingredients together before forming them into a cheese ball.

Here are some tips for making a Cheese Ball.

I mentioned that if you really are looking for a way to cut down on the fat in this recipe, you can use a lower fat cream cheese. However, be sure to read the label on the cream cheese to make sure that it contains an acceptable carb count for you.

Here are some more helpful tips for you.

    1. Yes, this recipe does use cheddar cheese. I get that not everyone likes cheddar cheese as much as I do though. Feel free to use another cheese as long as the flavor and the carb count are what you are looking for.
    2. Liven up your cheese ball. Add a few drops of a hot sauce or sprinkle additional seasonings to make it even better!
    3. This recipe for a cheese ball is a lot easier to make when the ingredients are at room temperature first. I like to take the ingredients out of the refrigerator and let them sit for a bit before I actually assemble the cheese ball.
    4. I love that there are so many options for low carb keto diet followers! You can find low carb and keto crackers to serve with this cheese ball online!

How to store a cheese ball.

This is an appetizer recipe that can be made in advance.
I suggest that you cover the cheese ball with wrap and allow it to sit in the refrigerator for at least three hours after making it and before serving it. The cheese ball should be able to keep stored in the refrigerator if stored properly for about a week.
