Finding that perfect gift for the folks on my list these days is somewhat centered on what is going on in the tech world. For me, it is the Fitbit Ionic Watch.

Get Your Holiday Shopping Game On! Here is how… #BestBuyTopTech
Best Buy just came out with their “Top Tech” List.
This list is the 20 must-have technology products.
This is a sponsored post on behalf of the folks at Best Buy. Obviously, I have been compensated for this post. However, all opinions are my own.
The good news is that The Top Tech list has just been released from Best Buy and I experienced this cool product that is on it.
The list contains the hottest new and emerging technologies handpicked by Best Buy’s tech experts, from virtual reality and smart home products to drones and hair dryers . It also includes the latest laptops, gaming systems, TVs, cameras and more. Customers can browse, learn about, preorder or buy them now in Best Buy stores and on BestBuy.com.
My pick from the list is the Fitbit Ionic fitness watch.
Fitbit has done a lot to get people moving. You probably already know someone who wears one. If you are unfamiliar with the Fitbit family, Fitbit’s allow to to keep track of the steps that you take in a day as well as a lot more. It is really a great idea to get and keep people moving (get one for yourself too if you want to join someone else in doing this). Fitbit is certainly not a quicky ‘fad’ and their new Fitbit Ionic watch is evidence of this.
Have you seen the new Fitbit watch??
Let me be honest. I am kind of a Fitbit freak.
I joined the Fitbit craze last holiday season with what I would refer to as a ‘beginner Fitbit’.
Basically, it was the cheapest Fitbit out there as there may have been some fear that I would not stick with it. However, last May I suffered an injury and as part of my rehab, I had to pack on the steps.
I actually learned how to love my Fitbit.
Not only does the Fitbit get you (or your loved one…) moving, it also helps you get active and possibly even healthier. This is by helping you monitor your sleep, eater intake, and even calories burned. However, my favorite thing to do with my Fitbit is take part in the challenges with other people. You ‘virtually’ compete with your friends/family with a Fitbit to see who can get the most steps in. I do a “Workweek Hustle” or a “Weekend Warrior” with people that I have found on social media. You would be surprised who is wearing a Fitbit and can join in.
Naturally, the next step for me is to take it up a notch.
By take it up a notch, I mean upgrade my Fitbit to something new, like the new Fitbit Watch.
That watch is just one of the items on the The Top Tech list from Best Buy
I love that I can maximize workouts with this Fitbit Ionic fitness watch.
It provides dynamic personal coaching, and it has built-in GPS capability, heart rate monitoring and storage for over 300 songs to help you stay motivated. The included battery lets this Fitbit Ionic fitness watch run for more than four days on each charge.
The Fitbit Ionic is the watch designed for your life .
The watch is GPS Enabled with an operating system compatibility Apple iOS, Android, Windows. I can wear it to work as it is water resistant (I clean a lot of plates at work). The GPS allows me to to track pace, distance & routes.
I also use these:
- Body Metrics Measured Distance traveled, Calories burned, Activity vs. inactivity, Heart rate, Steps taken, Stairs climbed, Pace.
- Storing and playing 300+ songs
- Have access apps for weather, sports and more.
- Bike (and other multi-sport modes) to track specific workouts with real-time stats, SmartTrack automatically records exercises for you (track duration and calories burned for swimming, running and biking). Thus, there is a lot that you can do with this.
- This watch has the ability to deliver key notifications to me, such as calls and text alerts, along with access to my favorite apps.
- Wireless connection to my devices is available thanks to Bluetooth connectivity and NFC technology which enables simple one-touch pairing. Hence, it is easy to use.
Because I love using my watch to track my steps, I love wearing it every day. However, you may find other uses for it as well.
Here is a video that demonstrates what I do with my Fitbit Ionic Watch.
The video shows you how I used my steps to compete in a Weekly Challenge. I won that challenge despite my insecurities.
