Low Carb Cheesy Pull Apart Bread
A few days ago I shared a recipe for how to make low carb bread.
While that bread is not the easiest recipe to make, it can be made without all of the added carbohydrates that are in a regular bread recipe. If you are wanting this to be a low carb cheesy pull apart recipe then I would say to use that recipe to make your bread. Otherwise, you can find a low carb bread elsewhere or use a regular all purpose flour loaf of bread.
Cheesy bread, like this one, is really a prime example of what some folks consider to be 'foodporn'.
There really is not a more pleasing recipe to share when you are celebrating a football game, potluck or other kind of a gathering. Also, once you have your bread loaf, making this is rather easy to do. YAY!!
You do not have to limit this pull apart bread to just cheese.
Consider stuffing pepperoni or even a precooked chili into the bread. You could also add a great seasoning to this bread as well.

How to make Low Carb Cheesy Pull Apart Bread
- This works best with bread that is not the freshest as fresh bread can be difficult to slice when it is soft. Preheat your your oven to 350 and prep a baking sheet for nonstick. If you use something like foil, it will make this easier for you to deal with later.
- You can slice the bread on a cutting board and then carefully transfer it to the prepped sheet for stuffing or you can do all of your work on the prepped sheet. To slice the bread, be sure to not slice all the way through the bread. For best results either slice the bread in a hasselback style or in a crisscross style. For the crisscross style, slice the bread horizontally about 1" apart ¾ of the way down. Then rotate the bread and slice again to form the crisscross. Your result will be square cubes cut into your loaf of bread.
- Stuff ½ of your cheese (¾ cup) and any optional ingredients into the squares. Then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Cover with your melted butter and any desired seasonings. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
