  • Preheat the waffle maker. If yours comes with a setting, set it to about 300 or medium setting. Line a baking sheet or surface with parchment paper.

  • In a mixing bowl, use a whisk or fork to blend together flour, the unsweetened cocoa powder, and baking powder until just combined. Next, in a large mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar alternative and butter for one minute. Then stir in the dry ingredients from the first bowl until the ingredients are just combined. Lastly, stir in the vanilla extract, milk, and mix to combine.

  • Spoon about a quarter cup of the batter into the waffle cone maker and spread the batter evenly. Cook for 30 seconds and check for doneness. It could take up to a minute to entirly cook the cone depending on your waffle maker. Quickly remove the waffle and shape it around the cone roller. Once the cone holds its shape (15-20 seconds) you can place it on the parchment paper and repeat until done.

Also mentioned, was that for best results, you should be quick when removing the waffle from the waffle maker.
This is because the waffle starts to harden within 5-10 seconds after cooking. For best results, you should start rolling the waffles immediately.
