  • Preheat your oven to 350 and prep a muffin pan for nonstick.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the cake mix and pudding, gently breaking up any lumps as needed.
  • Next, in a larger bowl, combine together the eggs, oil, milk, sour cream and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients from the first bowl to the bowl with the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Then fold in the the chocolate chips.
  • Use any additional chocolate chips as desired to top the muffins before placing them into the oven to bake.
    Bake for 20-23 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean however, making sure that any melted chocolate does not play a factor in the test.
  • Allow the muffins to cool before serving.
