Sugar Free Watermelon Popsicle Treat Recipe

Enjoy this frozen treat without all of the added sugar or carbs added to it .

Ingredients

  • Sugar Free Lemonade- 4 cups 1 quart
  • Sugar Free Watermelon Syrup- 2 tablespoons
  • Optional- Cubed Watermelon-1 cup subbed in for one of the 4 cups of lemonade.
  • Also Optional- Sugar Free Chocolate Chips- these make cute seeds when randomly disbursed throughout.
  • And- Optional- ½ more cup of sugar free lemonade can be yellow+ 2 kiwi skinned.

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine together the sugar free lemonade already prepared and the sugar free watermelon syrup. If adding a cup of cubed watermelon, add the cup of watermelon and omit one cup of the lemonade (ie add 3 cups of sugar free lemonade instead of 4).
  • When the ingredients are well blended, pour into your popsicle molds leaving about ¼-1/2 inch free if you will be adding a layer of green later on. Add any sticks to the popsicles prior to freezing.
  • You can place this into the freezer and freeze. Also, you can add any chocolate chips that you will be using as 'seeds' to the popsicles after about 2 hours when things appear to be freezing. This will allow your 'seeds' to disperse somewhat. However, if you would like the seeds to all sit on the top of the popsicles, feel free to add those to the molds just before you add the liquid ingredients.
  • After the popsicles have sat inside of the freezer and appear to be frozen, you can add the green layer. To make the green layer all you need to do is simply combine the additional ½ cup of lemonade and the 2 kiwi in a blender. Please note that kiwi does have some sugar in it naturally if you are paying attention to sugar. You will need to blend the two together and then add the liquid to the popsicle in the freezer and continue to freeze.
