Low Carb Copycat Red Lobster Biscuits

  • Preheat your oven to 400 and prep your cookie or baking sheets with Parchment Paper .

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine together your Carbquik, milk, Old Bay seasoning, and cheese. Do not over-mix. When your dough forms, use a tablespoon to drop spoonfuls onto the prepped sheets from the first step.

  • Bake your biscuits for 10-12 minutes. Biscuits should start to brown when ready. While your biscuits are baking, combine together your melted butter, garlic powder, salt and parsley in a bowl. After removing biscuits from the oven, brush the melted butter mixture over the biscuits. Remove your biscuits from the pan and serve.

Recipe Notes

As mentioned, for this recipe you will need Carbquik baking mix. Make sure that you use a low carb baking mix and not just a low carb flour.
Also needed is Old Bay Seasoning
This is the seasoning that makes these biscuits to good.
Vegan or Gluten Free folks can try making their own version of this biscuit.
You can find butter and vegan milk alternatives online. Also, vegan cheese can be found here as can vegan baking mixes. Please read the instructions for using the one that you have selected to use.
Lastly, gluten free people can use a gluten free baking mix such as one of these.
