Prep Time5 minutes
Cook Time12 minutes
Total Time17 minutes
Servings: 1 cup of green beans

Ingredients

  • Green Beans- 1 pound trimmed. Using fresh green beans is preferred to the canned variety. If using canned green beans be sure to drain the green beans well.
  • Garlic- 2 cloves finely chopped or minced.
  • Olive Oil- 1-2 tablespoons as needed.
  • Seasonings such as salt, pepper- as needed.
  • Asiago cheese that has been grated- 1 cup. See post for alternatives.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 and prep a baking sheet with sides/lips for nonstick. I use parchment paper.
  • Place your green beans flat on the baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix together you garlic, oil, and seasonings. Drizzle this over the green beans making sure that they all get some on them. Try to move the beans around to get them covered if needed.
  • Sprinkle the cheese over the green beans,
  • Bake your green beans for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese appears to become crispie.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes prior to serving.
