Sugar Free Chocolate Fondue

Dip your favorite fruit or other items into a sugar free or low sugar chocolate fondue.

Ingredients

  • Sugar Free Chocolate Chips- You can find a variety of sugar free and/or low carb chocolate chips in the post above- 1 8-10 ounce bag.
  • Heavy Cream can sub in half & half or refer to post to see how to use Greek Yogurt - ⅔ cup.
  • Extract- such as Vanilla or even a brandy or liquor- 1 tablespoon total. Check label to make sure it is low sugar or sugar free of course.
  • Whatever you are dipping.

Instructions

  • If making this on a stove- use a double boiler method - boil water in the bottom. In the top (pot or bowl) warm the heavy cream (or substitute), remove from heat and stir (whisk works well here) in remaining ingredients.
  • Single sauce pan method- over medium heat, warm your heavy cream (or substitute) and chocolate stirring constantly. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in your remaining ingredients. I usually spray the pan with nonstick before adding the ingredients for melting.
  • Finally, the fondue pot method. follow the directions that came with the pot. Many will instruct you to make the fondue as described above and then pour the fondue into the pot (careful as this will be warm.).
