Recipe Notes

Please see the recipe post for the many alternatives that can be used in this recipe.
Make this recipe gluten free by using gluten free flour instead of regular flour. Or, you can make this recipe low carb by using low carb Carbalose flour. Or, sub in ½ of Old Fashion Oats for ½ cup of flour to make these cookies chewy and a bit healthier too!
Make these cookies vegan by using a vegan egg substitute and a vegan butter substitute. I also found vegan chocolate chips here. Read the label on the packaging to see if there is a difference in measurements if you do use these alternatives.
As mentioned, you will need peanut butter for this recipe. I have a recipe for sugar free peanut butter that you can use. But, you can also find a sugar free peanut butter online.
