Sugar Free Lemon Frozen Yogurt

  • Combine all of your ingredients in a blender. Blend until well mixed.

  • If you are using an ice cream maker or ice cream freezer, please follow the manufacturers directions.

  • This recipe works best when you use an ice cream maker or “ice cream freezer”. A workaround for this if you do not have one is to use a blender (such as a Vitamix) and blend the mixture and then freeze it. Remove the frozen mixture from the freezer and re-blend again and refreeze.

  • Store this in a freezer container for ice cream or similar product for freezer storage.

Recipe Notes

As mentioned, this recipe works best when you use an ice cream maker or "ice cream freezer". A workaround for this if you do not have one is to use a blender (such as a Vitamix) and blend the mixture and then freeze it. Remove the frozen mixture from the freezer and re-blend again and refreeze.
 
Also mentioned this recipe calls for plain old yogurt.
However, you could use a vanilla or lemon flavored yogurt instead. Using a low fat yogurt is also an option if you do not mind a less creamy result.
