Air Fried Honey Mustard Salmon

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon Fillets -6 to 8 ounces
  • 4 tsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Honey - See post for alternatives that may be lower in carbs
  • 1 tsp Garlic -minced
  • Seasonings -as desired

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 and give the basket a quick spray with nonstick if desired. Please note that if your air fryer suggests using another temperature to air fry salmon on, please follow that however, you may need to adjust the cooking time.

  • In a small bowl, use a whisk or a fork to blend together the remaining ingredients (oil, seasonings etc.). Use a brush to brush the blend on both sides of the salmon. Alternatively, you can toss the ingredients in a zip top bag

  • Transfer the salmon to the fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes or until done.

Recipe Notes

I mentioned that the salmon should be about six to eight ounces in size. Also mentioned was that the salmon should not be frozen so please defrost it before using it in this recipe.
I also mentioned that how your salmon cooks depends upon the kind of air fryer you are using.
For me, preheating my air fryer helps because it allows the heat to be evenly distributed before I begin cooking my food.
Also, giving the air fryer basket a quick spray can help keep salmon from sticking.
