Instructions

  • Allow the ingredients to sit to get to room temperature if they have been stored in the refrigerator. This will make it easier to make this recipe. In a medium mixing bowl (or food processor) use a fork to work the cream cheese or process the cream cheese until smooth.

  • Fold in the oregano, parsley, and garlic powder until blended. Then lightly fold in the shredded cheese.

  • To form the ball simple use your hands. I suggest using a bit of oil or water on your hands to help prevent the cheese from sticking to your hands.

  • Cover the cheese ball with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least three hours before serving. Serve with additional shredded cheese on top along with some low carb and keto crackers .

Recipe Notes

I mentioned that if you really are looking for a way to cut down on the fat in this recipe, you can use a lower fat cream cheese. However, be sure to read the label on the cream cheese to make sure that it contains an acceptable carb count for you.
Also mentioned, is that you can alter the flavor of this recipe to your needs.
Using a cheese other than cheddar is one way to do so.
Adding a few drops of a hot sauce or sprinkle additional seasonings to make it even better!
