  • Beat together the cream cheese and heavy whipping cream on low until blended
    stir mix cream cheese
  • Add the cocoa powder, sugar alternative, and vanilla extract and mix on low for thirty second. Turn the speed on the mixer up and continue to beat until fluffy. Tip: switching to a whisk attachment can yield a fluffier mousse.

Recipe Notes

I mentioned that using a whisk attachment can help introduce more air into your mousse and thus, make it fluffy. However, you should start this recipe using standard mixer beaters as the cream cheese will need to get broken down.
 
This recipe can also be made vegan.
Instead of cream cheese, use a tofu based cream cheese.
Also, instead of whipping cream, use you can use coconut milk or coconut cream or a mixture of the two.
Serve with my Sugar Free Whipped Cream on top if desired.
