Sugar Free Orange Sorbet
Sugar Free Orange Sorbet, a simple vegan and gluten free dessert recipe made with no added sugar. Keto low carb option.
- 1 ¼ cups Orange Juice -see post for details
- 1 ½ cups Water
- ½ cup Stevia - see post for details
In a saucepan on medium-low heat, boil together the water with the stevia. I suggest that you stir this as it heats up. Allow the syrup to boil for five minutes. Then turn off the heat and allow the syrup to cool.
Once the syrup has cooled, you can use a whisk to blend together the orange juice with the syrup. Then transfer this to your freezer container and freeze for three hours.
Every 30 minutes you will need to stir the mixture with a spoon so as not to crystallize the surface. Repeat this process every thirty minutes until the sorbet becomes creamy and free of sugar crystals (can take up to four hours).
