  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, sugar alternative, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth. Transfer this to a shallow bowl or casserole dish for dipping the bread into.

  • Preheat your skillet on medium heat with a half tablespoon of the butter, spreading the butter around as needed to cover the skillet as it melts.
