  • Preheat your oven to 350 and prep a cookie sheet well for nonstick. In a medium bowl, use a whisk or a fork to combine together the flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Set this bowl aside.
  • Next, in a mixing bowl, beat together the butter and brown sugar alternative until creamy. Then beat in the egg.
    Add the flour mixture from the first bowl to the mixing bowl and mix until just combined and then fold in the apple pieces
  • Use a teaspoon to drop the cookies on to the prepared baking sheets. Leave about an inch and a half to two inches between cookies as they will spread. Then bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until they begin to turn golden.
  • To make the glaze, simple combine the ingredients, making adjustments as needed to get a good consistency for spreading. Then spread the glaze over the cookies while they are still warm.
