Low Carb Artichoke Dip Skillet Bread

A fabulous way to enjoy a skillet bread with artichoke and spinach dip that is made low carb as well.
Prep Time20 minutes
Cook Time40 minutes
Total Time1 hour
Servings: 1 skillet

Ingredients

  • Low Carb Pizza Crust- see recipe here. or this Easy Low Carb Pizza Crust recipe here.
  • My low carb artichoke spinach dip.
  • Olive Oil- 3 tablespoons divided.
  • Parmesan and/or Romano Cheese- ¼ cup total grated.

Instructions

  • Start by preparing the pizza dough as directed. While the dough is rising you can continue with the rest. You can prepare the dip recipe in advance and refrigerate as well.
  • When you are ready to make this recipe. Preheat your oven to 350. Prepare your skillet with 2 tablespoons of the olive oil.
  • Divide up the dough into 20-22 equal sized balls, depending on what fits in your pan. Arrange the balls around the perimeter of the skillet. Brush the remaining olive oil over the bread and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Take precautions as the skillet will be really hot (I burnt myself bad once by forgetting to take precautions). Remove the skillet from the oven and place on a heat safe counter or similar surface. Fill the center of the bread with the dip that you prepared. Then sprinkle the cheese over both the bread and the dip.
  • Return this to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and the bread starts to turn brown. Allow this to cool a bit before serving as it will be really hot.
