Sugar Free Donut Holes

Make your favorite donut holes without added sugar or having to fry them. Options for gluten free and low carb.

Ingredients

  • Sugar Alternative- equivalent to ¼ cup of sugar. Granular is preferred.
  • Nutmeg- ¼ teaspoon.
  • Egg- 1 beaten.
  • Baking mix-- 2 cups. Make this recipe low carb with Carbalose Baking mix Or make this gluten free with one of these gluten free options.
  • milk- ¼ cup.
  • Vanilla Extract- 1 teaspoon.
  • Make these cocoa by adding 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa + 1 tablespoon of milk.

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine together your sugar alternative, nutmeg and your egg. You can easily make this by hand bypassing your mixer if desired.
  • Slowly add the baking mix and the milk- ½ of each at a time, stirring between additions. Then stir in the remaining ingredients.
  • Refrigerate the batter for 15-20 minutes to help make it easier to work with.
  • Preheat you oven to 325. If using abking sheet, prep the baking sheet for nonstick and form the donut holes into balls or use a donut hole baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Optionally, you can use a donut hole maker to make these.
