Start by prepping a cookie sheet for nonstick and preheating your oven to 350.
In a small bowl, whisk or sift together the flour and the baking soda.
Next, in a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, and sugars until creamy. Then add your the vanilla extract and egg.Add half of the flour mixture from the first bowl to the second bowl. Mix gently and then add the rest. Then you can fold in the chocolate chips
Bake your cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges begin to brown.
