Sugar Free Lemon Sheet Cake Bars
Take this yummy dessert with you to a picnic or next party. This is how to make the best tasting Sugar Free Lemon Sheet Cake Bars
Start by preheating your oven to 325 and prep your baking sheet for nonstick.
In a mixing bowl, sift or whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Then whisk in the sugar alternative.
Beat in the lemon extract, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and oil and then add the eggs, one egg at a time, mixing between additions. Next fold in the pudding by hand.
Bake for 24-28 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool before frosting it.
As mentioned, you will need sugar free lemon pudding in this recipe. Follow the directions on the package to prepare this. The prepared and cooled lemon pudding is an ingredient in itself.
To bake this cake you will need a sheet cake pan to bake your cake in.
Your pan should have a rim around it. That rim should be 1 - 1 ½" tall. an 11 X 17, 10 X 15 or similar sized sheet cake pan should work however, the size could also correlate with how tall you would like your cake to be.
I also mentioned that this cake is usually served frosted.
