Recipe Notes

I mentioned that using a less sweet apple, such as a Granny Smith, works best is this recipe because of the sweetness of the caramel sauce. Also, a firm apple will hold the toppings better as well as give that great crunch that is expected from most any kind of nacho.
Also mentioned was a listing of toppings that can be added to the nachos.
Topping ideas include sugar free chocolate chips, sugar free marshmallows, cinnamon or apple pie spice, chopped nuts, oats, granola, pretzels, sugar free candy, berries, or even cereal
