Ingredients

Instructions

  • Start by prepping a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper that overlaps the edges enough to use the overlap as a handle later on.
    parchment lined cookie sheet
  • Use a microwave or double boiler to melt the chocolate chips. You may need to do this in batches if your microwave safe bowl is not large enough to hold all of the chocolate chips. If using a microwave, be sure to stop the microwave every 30 second to stir and also use a microwave safe bowl. Double boiler method will need to be continually stirred and on low heat.
    melt chocolate
  • Stir the vanilla extract into the chocolate and then transfer the melted chocolate to the prepared rimmed baking sheet. Be sure to evenly spread the chocolate out. The bark should be about ⅛- ¼″ thick for best results.
    Melting Chocolate
  • If you are pouring melted sugar free white chocolate over the bark you will need to allow for the darker chocolate to harden. This should take about an hour. then pour the melted white chocolate over this and continue with the next step. If you are not adding the melted white chocolate, you can skip this step.

  • Next, evenly sprinkle the remaining ingredients on top of the still warm chocolate. Then allow the chocolate bark to cool and harden. Once the bark has hardened you can break or cut it into pieces and enjoy or store for later enjoyment.
