Low Carb Waffle Burgers

Low carb waffles can be used in recipes for waffle burgers, waffle sandwiches and more. This is how to make those low cab waffles.
Servings: 1 -3 burger sandwiches depending on size of waffles

Ingredients

  • Egg-1
  • Greek Yogurt- ⅓ cup
  • Water- ¼ cup
  • Vanilla Extract- 1 tsp
  • Vegetable Oil- 1 tablespoon
  • Low carb baking mix- 1 ¼ cup see post for details on mix
  • Sugar Alternative- 1 tablespoon equivalent
  • Burgers precooked- 3-4 depending on how many burgers desired per sandwich.
  • Toppings as desired- such as bacon bits cheese etc.

Instructions

  • Prep your waffle maker for nonstick and then plug it in to preheat.
  • In mixing bowl, whip your egg until fluffy.
  • When egg appears fluffy (could take a few minutes of whipping) mix in the yogurt, water, vanilla and vegetable oil.
  • Now mix in the baking mix and sugar alternative to your batter. If the batter seems to be too thick, add a bit of water a teaspoon at a time until you reach a waffle batter consistency that you prefer.
  • Make the waffles as directed by the manufacturer.
  • Allow each waffle to cool enough to be able to hold it's shape. 3-5 minutes should be good.
  • Assemble your burger using your pre-made burgers and desired toppings.
