Instructions

  • Prepare. Preheat your oven to 350. Prep a 9x13 inch baking pan well for nonstick.
  • Dry Ingredients. In a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
  • Butter. Using a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar alternative until smooth and creamy- about three minute on medium- high speed. Then whisk in the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Combine. Scrape down the sides of your bowl and add the dry ingredients from the first to the mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients on low until smooth.
  • Bake. Transfer the mixed ingredients to your prepared cake pan, evenly spreading the batter out. Bake your cake for for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  • Cool. When your cake is done baking, turn the oven off and prop the door open a couple of inches. Then let the cake cool in the oven for about a half hour.
  • Glaze. To make the glaze, simply whisk together the ingredients until smooth, making adjustments as needed for texture.
  • Set. When your cake has finished cooling in the oven, take it out of the oven and pour or gently spread the glaze over the cake. Allow the glaze about a half hour to set at room temperature before slicing and serving
