Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups Almond Flour.
  • ½ cup Butter. --Use salted butter that has been melted and cooled to room temperature.
  • cup Sugar Alternative -- Use a granular sugar alternative that measures like sugar.

Filling

Instructions

  • Crust. To make the crust, combine together the almond flour, sugar alternative, and melted butter, mixing well until well combined. Then press the mixture into the bottom of your baking dish. You can use your hands to press the mixture into the dish to create your crust. Making adjustments as needed for the crust to hold together.
  • Beat. In a large bowl, beat your heavy cream until stiff peaks form (peaks that are firm and are able to hold their shape). This can take about four minutes give or take.
  • Milk. Once your heavy cream has formed stiff peaks, use a rubber spatula or similar item to fold in the condensed milk and lime juice.
  • Transfer. Transfer the mixture to your pan with the crust, evenly spreading it over the crust.
  • Freeze. Cover the bars and then place them into your freezer until set (about four hours). Your bars are done chilling when the top is firm to touch.
  • Serve. Slice and serve your bars as desired.
