Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar Free Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 4 oz Cool Whip - see post for details and alternatives.
  • 2 cups Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Chips. -see post for details and alternatives.

Instructions

  • Prepare a square baking dish (8x8 or 9x9 for example) with parchment paper, plastic wrap, or foil that overhangs the side of the dish. Then spray this lightly for nonstick.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips until smooth according to the directions on the packaging.
Then allow the melted chocolate to cool to room temperature (about 10 minutes).
  • Meanwhile, place the whipped topping into a mixing bowl.
Then transfer the melted chocolate to the mixing bowl.
  • Use a sturdy mixing spoon to combine the ingredients together. Folding the ingredients may be easiest when you start out.
  • Transfer the blended ingredients to the prepared baking dish. Then place the dish into the freeze to set (about 20 minutes).
Meanwhile, line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper to use as a workspace.
  • Once the filling has set you can remove it from the freezer.
  • Use the overhanging parchment/foil to lift it from the dish. Then cut the filling into 16 pieces.
  • Melt the remaining chocolate chips as indicated on the packaging. Carefully, use a fork or dipping tool, to dip each of the pieces into the melted chocolate and then place the pieces on to the baking sheet you just lined.
  • Refrigerate the candy until firm and then enjoy!
