Ingredients

Blackberry Filling.

Crumble Topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 and prep your baking dish for nonstick.
  • Place the blackberries into a large mixing bowl.
  • In a smaller bowl, use a whisk to combine together the sugar alternative, cornstarch, water, and vanilla extract. Then pour this mixture over the blackberries and toss them until the ingredients are combined and the the berries are covered with the other ingredients.
  • Evenly spread the blackberries in your prepared baking dish.
  • To make the crumble, combine together your oats, flour, brown sugar alternative, melted butter, cinnamon and baking powder in a mixing bowl or food processor until crumbly. Then sprinkle this (using your hands) over the blackberry mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake your crumble for 30-35 minutes or until the the crumble topping turns golden and you can see some bubbling from the fruit.
  • While this dessert tastes amazing while warm, it is a good idea to allow it to cool a bit (10-20 minutes) before serving as the fruit can be hot.
