Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 and prepare a rimmed baking sheet for nonstick.
  • Carefully unroll the crescent roll on a clean and flat surface. Then separate the dough along the perforation marks into individual triangles.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat your cream cheese to soften it up. Then add the sugar alternative, lemon juice, and lemon zest and beat until the mixture is creamy.
  • Use a medium scoop to distribute the filling along the wide side of each triangle to about ¼" from the edge.
  • To roll the crescent rolls back up, start at the wide end and roll the triangles up, tucking in the corners at the end. Place the rolls about one and a half to two inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes or until they appear to to turn golden brown. Then carefully remove the rolls from the oven let them sit on the baking sheet for a minute before transferring them to a wire cooling rack to fully cool.
  • To make the glaze, simply use a whisk to combine the ingredients together. When the rolls have fully cooled you can drizzle the glaze over them and serve once the glaze has become hard.
