Tips for making the best cheesecake crescent rolls.
Store bought refrigerated crescent rolls were used to make my rolls. You can alternatively use biscuit dough that has been rolled out or dough from a sheet, making adjustments as needed in baking.
More helpful tips for you.
- The creamy filling is made using cream cheese as a base. Using a full fat cream cheese will make the filling more lush and flavorful.
- While lemon is what was used to make my rolls, you can try using another citrus fruit. I like the idea of making these with lime instead of lemon.
- The glaze topping is optional but, a really nice addition to these rolls. You should however wait for the rolls to cool before drizzling the glaze so that the glaze can harden in place.
How to store cheesecake rolls.
Once the rolls have fully cooled, they should be stored in an airtight container. When properly stored and refrigerated, these roll should keep for up to a few days. I have not tried freezing these rolls.

- Cream Cheese. Your cream cheese should be softened to room temperature so that it can be blended with the other ingredients.
- Sugar Alternative. Use a granular sugar alternative that can also be baked with and that measures like sugar.
- Lemon Zest and Lemon Juice. Real lemon is used to make these tasty rolls.
- For the glaze you will need sugar free powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Expert Tip👉 To soften your cream cheese in a microwave, remove the packaging and place the cream cheese bar on a microwave safe plate. Microwave your cream cheese for 15 seconds.
