Air Fried Roasted Cauliflower
This recipe reminds me of my recently shared recipe for Low Carb Air Fried Cauliflower Tots.
The big difference between the two recipes is that this recipe has cauliflower that has simply been seasoned rather than breaded as well.
Air frying has become a popular method of preparing food in my home.
We seem to have been using our air fryer to make everything and anything that we can make in an oven. However, this is not to say that we have not discovered new recipes to try in our air fryer too!
I mentioned a moment ago that I seem to be air frying a lot these days.
Certainly that has a lot to do with how easy and healthy air frying anything can be.
Really, just about anyone can work a basic air fryer such as this one.
However, I recently updated my air fryer to a new one that does more than just air fry.
After mentioning that I was thinking about upgrading, I had a reader who suggested that I check out this air fryer as they had recently purchased it and were extremely happy with it.
I must say that I am indeed really happy with my upgrade.
People always ask how do you roast in an air fryer?
My thoughts are that anything that can be done in a regular oven, can most likely be done in an air fryer.
This includes roasting cauliflower.
Technically, the definition of roasting is simply preparing or baking something in the oven or over a grill.
What you really need for roasting is some sort of a dry heat that can cook your food. The temperature at which you roast, both in an oven or over a fire, really has a lot to do with what you are roasting. Meat, as you would expect, would need to be roasted at a higher temperature than say, cauliflower to be roasted.
Here are some tips Air Fried Roasted Cauliflower
Seasoning is how you can personalize your roasted cauliflower to your liking. You could go with a simple seasoned salt. However, there are other great seasonings that you could alternatively use tasty seasonings such as one of these.
Here are some more great tips for roasting in your air fryer.
- Smaller cauliflower florets can cook or burn faster than larger one. It is a good idea to keep your eye on yours to prevent burning.
- When you divide your cauliflower into pieces, I suggest using pieces that are both easy to handle as a finger food and as uniform as possible in size to allow for even cooking.
- Air frying your cauliflower for a few minutes longer that just cooked will give you a crunchier result, which some folks enjoy.
- Place your cauliflower in a single layer with the pieces touching one another as little as possible for more efficient cooking.
- Throw in a couple of garlic cloves with your cauliflower for an added element to your roasted cauliflower.
Cauliflower roasted in the air fryer tastes really good.
I like how the cauliflower caramelizes as it cooks which makes it almost sweet in taste. This is a taste that you do not normally expect from cauliflower yet, delicious too.

How to make Air Fried Roasted Cauliflower

Pour this oil mixture over the cauliflower in the first bowl, tossing the cauliflower florets so that they appear to be evenly covered with oil and seasonings.
