This Sugar Free Banana Bread has so much flavor that you may not even notice that there is no added sugar in it.
I like that the only sugar that is added to this bread comes from the bananas.

There is nothing like the smell of banana bread baking in the oven.
I can certainly agree that just about every bread smells amazing when baking in the oven. However, the smell of this tasty bread is really something special.

Have you tried this other recipe that I have forSugar Free Low Carb Banana Bread?

I have learned that Banana bread is certainly a bread that people can agree upon.
This could have something to do with the kind of sweet yet, yummy taste that the bananas bring to it.
However, adults know that bananas are a healthy ingredients, making this bread even better!

In this recipe I give an option for using a low carb baking mix. You can find a variety of low carbohydrate baking mixes here.

You could certainly argue that this banana bread is healthy.

Bananas add flavor and moisture to this recipe.
They also add potassium and nutrients such as Vitamin d and B6.

However, there are also other reasons to add bananas to our recipes.
Bananas can be substituted for fat (such as oil) in recipes because they bring moisture to the recipe.
Also, bananas can be used instead of eggs in recipes.

Here are some tips for making sugar free banana bread.

It is important that you check your banana bread frequently while it is baking.
This is because pulling the banana bread out of the oven too soon can cause the center to be soft or gooey as the bananas need to fully bake.

Here are some more helpful tips for you.

  1. Make this recipe gluten free. Use a gluten free all purpose flour such as one of these instead of regular all purpose flour.
  2. Make sure that you are using a very ripe banana for this recipe. Using a banana that is soft, will make it easier the blend the ingredients more successfully.
  3. While bananas do have carbohydrates in them, low carb diet people can use a low carb all purpose flour to keep the carbs down in their bread.
  4. If you are using a baking mix such as Carbquik, please omit the baking powder and baking soda from the ingredient list below.
  5. Adding chopped walnuts adds both flavor and texture to this banana bread recipe.

How to make this Sugar Free Banana Bread.

  • Preheat your oven to 325 and prep a loaf pan for nonstick. I am a fan of parchment paper(think easy lift out and clean up).
  • In a medium sized bowl, whisk together your flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set this bowl aside.
  • Next, in a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar alternative and the butter. Then stir in the beaten eggs and the vanilla extract.
  • For the next step, we will add the flour mixture to the mixing bowl with the other ingredients. Do so by adding half of the flour mixture at a time, gently mixing between additions. When this is blended, you can fold in the bananas and optional chopped nuts.
  • Bake your bread for 65-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
