Did you try my recipe for Keto Low Carb Peanut Butter and Coconut bites?

If you are looking for a low carb keto snack idea that has peanut butter and coconut, that is a great recipe to try out.
This recipe is really about the fat that is added to the bombs which helps give this recipe both texture and the ability to fill you up fast.

I am always looking for the perfect way to store my food. Luckily, I found these genius ideas for food storage which may also be helpful for you!

People seem to ask me is keto better than low carb.

While they are very similar diets (low in carbohydrates), keto and low carb diets to differ.
The good news is that recipes such as this one, work for both keto and low carb diets.

While not a big difference there is a difference between keto and low carb diets.

A low carb diet focuses on carbohydrates that may be from protein as well as fats.
In the keto diet, carbohydrates are more restricted as is protein too.

You may be wondering what is the difference between cookie dough and edible cookie dough.

While this recipe for keto low carb fat bombs is cookie dough, it really is not something that you should bake to make cookies from. One reason is because it would melt almost immediately after placing it into the oven.

Here is what makes regular cookie dough edible rather than inedible.

It is the eggs that deems cookie dough inedible (in most cases) because of the risk of salmonella from consuming raw eggs. Not adding eggs to the cookie dough can help make it edible without baking it.

KETO Low Carb COOKIE DOUGH Bombs- use a scoop to help shape your bombs.

Here are some tips for making fat bombs.

I mentioned above this this recipe is not a regular cookie dough recipe and should not be baked in an oven. This recipe is more of a 'fat bomb' intended to fill you up and fix that craving when you are following certain diets.

    Here are some more tips.

    1. This recipe calls for sugar free chocolate chips. Feel free to sub in sugar free white chocolate chips or chopped nuts instead!
    2. This recipe calls for almond flour. However, if you find that the almond flour is too grainy, try subbing in coconut flour for part of the almond flour. Or, you could use your favorite protein powder.
    3. It is essential that the fat ingredients in this recipe are allowed to softened to room temperature for this recipe. This will allow for proper blending of the ingredients as well as making it easier to shape them into bombs or balls.

How to store keto low carb fat bombs.

These fat bombs will most likely melt or lose their shape if kept at room temperature.
For this reason I suggest storing them in the refrigerator (about two weeks) or freezing them (allowing them to defrost before eating).
