Sugar Free Graham Crackers

As you may already know, it is pretty hard, if not impossible, to find sugar free graham crackers for sale.
This has been a popular recipe around here in the past.
It would only seem to make sense that it would need to be updated or tweaked.
This is because there have been a few advancements in ingredients since this post was first posted.
You may be surprised to learn that graham crackers can be high in sugar.
I mean, graham crackers can be somewhat sweet in taste and sometimes coated with additional refined sugar on top. So, it would seem natural to believe that they are high in sugar.
If you are avoiding sugar you may be wondering if there are substitutes for graham crackers.
I have noticed that the substitutes that are offered for graham crackers really are not grahams. That is, graham crackers, to be authentic, need to be made with graham flour, hence the name graham cracker.
You may also be wondering if there is a way to make low carb graham crackers.
Low carbohydrate graham crackers have always been something on my mind.
However, graham flour does have carbs in it.
If you are wanting to make authentic sugar free graham crackers then please follow this recipe as it is presented.
That is, using the graham flour as your flour of choice. Your crackers will be sugar free however, not necessarily low in carbs.
To make a sugar free and low carb graham crackers or keto graham crackers you will need to make a few modifications to this recipe.
To make this low carb, use a low carb all purpose flour for all of the flour in this recipe..
Also, to make this keto use a keto all purpose flour for all of the flour in this recipe.

Do you have a recipe for a graham cracker pie crust like you would use for cheese cake?
TheSugarFreeDiva
Hi. As far as I know, in order to get a sugar free homemade graham cracker crust, you would need to make the graham crackers and then use them in a regular graham cracker crust recipe where you grind up the crackers and combine them with a fat such as butter. It may seem like a bit of work but, it is possible to do. Hope this helps/
