I can tell you that I have had those moments when I have made a great dip only to realize that I did not have anything to serve it with. With company on the way, I have had to make my own chips to serve.
There is a cheat to this recipe.
I am going to show you two ways to make this recipe. The first way is with the cheat. Then I will show you how to make these from scratch. Both ways are easy to make. YAY!

There are a few ingredients that you will need to make the homemade version of these tortilla chips.
First off, you will need almond flour such as one of these. Almond flour is a great alternative to regular wheat flour when you are on a gluten free or low carb diet.
You can season your chips to suit your needs.
For example, I'm a fan of Trader Joe Chili Lime Seasoning - 2 ½ teaspoons. However, you can use the seasoning that fulfill your needs. Examples could be Taco Seasonings, Ground Cumin and/ or Chili Powder.

- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese- ¾ cup. Tip- use a lower fat cheese for better crisping. Just make sure that it is indeed cheese and not other ingredients. I have not tried this recipe with other cheeses however, I suspect that a Parmesan (the real stuff) or Cheddar Cheese may work in this recipe. please let me know if you try an alternative cheese to mozzarella.
- Almond Flour (such as one of these.)- 2 cups.
- Egg- 1 beaten

How to make Homemade Low Carb Tortilla Chips
- Preheat your oven to 300. Prep one or more cookie sheets with Parchment Paper .
- Start by melting your cheese. Using a microwave is certainly the easiest way to do this. Just make sure that you do not over cook your cheese. Also, prepare a flat surface with additional parchment paper to work on later on.
- While your cheese is melting, you can combine together the almond flour and seasonings. Allow the melted cheese to cool a bit (a couple of minutes- not so that it hardens) and then stir it into the flour mix, Next, stir in the egg. To clarify this step, you do not want the cheese burning while combine the ingredients because you do not want it to burn your hands or cook the egg,. You simply want it warm enough to work with.
- We are going to make a 'dough' out of our mix in this step. When a dough begins to form as you are mixing it, you can transfer the dough to the parchment paper prepared flat surface from the second step above. Divide the dough into 2-3 balls (depending on the size that you want your chips to be- 2 balls for larger chips). Work each individual ball into a flat circle, cut the circles into wedges, place each wedge onto the prepped baking sheets. Use a pizza cutter, or similar item, to cut each individual tortilla into triangles or wedges. Tip- to flatten the dough balls into circles try placing an additional piece of parchment paper over it before rolling it out. The paper will be between the rolling pin and the dough to help prevent sticking and keep the dough intact.
- Bake these chips for four minutes, flip them over and bake for another four minutes. Allow them to cool- on a rack- before serving.

Thank you for your abundance of keto friendly recipes. Know this is a big request but I'm wondering, actually hoping, you would alter the visual presentation of your site. I, like many others, use my smart phone when searching Pinterest and other social media. On the left side of your site there is a purple bar with options for sharing, which h makes that easy. U fortunately it makes reading your site difficult and uncomfortable because that bar obscures the type on the left side. To read the text it must be about e or below that bar. And to make matters worse above that bar, also taking reading g space is the number of shares. As you also offer those sharing options elsewhere in your posts could you reposition that bar to appear near the bottom of the left side rather than smack in the middle. It would still be there and make it much easier to read all that you share with us. Thanks for considering this request. And big kidos if you do it.
Oh, and one other thing I noticed with this low carb tortilla chip recipe. In the nutritional I formation you have given us the information per serving but do not tell us the serving size. I haven't really checked that out on your other recipes. I hope it's just an oops on this recipe. Those things can happen. But having that serving size makes all the difference when using that info.
BTW Thank you for all you do getting, testing and sharing these Leto friendly recipes. I need as many good ones as I can get.

Thank you!!!
I will update that left side issue for you as well.
