These Sugar Free Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies are so good!
I like that this is a sugar free take on two of my favorite cookies too!
Sugar Free Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
I like the idea of combining two great cookies into one.
Certainly, peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies are always good choices too.
There is no argument that I know of that says a great cookie is a bad thing.
This is especially true when you have two great tastes in that cookie.
Chocolate chip and peanut butter always seem to make a great taste in a cookie.
To keep these cookies as low as possible in sugar, we will need to use a sugar free peanut butter.
I have a recipe for sugar free peanut butter that you can use. It is a fairly easy recipe to follow as well.
However, you can also find a sugar free peanut butter online.
I suggest looking for organic peanut butter if you have trouble finding the sugar free peanut butter. The organic peanut butter often has no added sugar in it too, but read the label to make sure.
One of my favorite cookie varieties is the peanut butter and oatmeal.
I just love the moisture that oatmeal brings to that cookie which makes it taste chewy too.
Adding oatmeal can unarguably make just about anything a bit healthier too.
If you are thinking about adding oatmeal to your sugar free peanut butter and oatmeal cookies, I say go for it!
I suggest using Old Fashion Oats as they are more tolerant of oven baking.
Simply sub in ½ cup of oats for ½ cup of your flour.
We are also going to use sugar free chocolate chips.
That is nothing new in a recipe around here. You probably knew that if you are someone who frequents this site.
For a recipe such as this one, I prefer a semi sweet chocolate chip.
I like how semi sweet chocolate chips interact with the other ingredients in a cookie. However, you can also try an unsweetened chocolate chip or a dark sugar free chocolate chip if desired.
I must say that this recipe is a rather easy peanut butter chocolate chip cookies recipe.
I will give you alternative for gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies as well as vegan peanut butter chocolate chip cookies too.
It really is as simple as substituting an ingredient or two.
