These Keto Sugar Free Brownies have just about anything anyone could want.

Keto Sugar Free Brownies
I feel like I have been on a 'Keto' streak lately.
Even though I have been an on-again off-again low carb person for years, I feel like I have just discovered the wheel. Or, at least discovered something new and great to enjoy when I am a low carb follower.
Keto and low carb followers both follow the high fat low carb theory about fat burning and weight loss.
However, from what I have read, the low carb diet allows for more protein than the keto diet. You should probably do your research and consult with your medical professional before partaking in either diet however.

I just mentioned that finding an all purpose flour alternative that is also keto or low carb is an easy thing to do. You can find many keto friendly all Purpose flour alternatives here.
Here are some more helpful keto low carn ingredient tips for you .
- I am mentioning once again that you should use an all purpose flour alternative and not a baking mix. This is because a baking mix will have additional ingredients added to it that may affect the outcome of your brownies.
- When choosing a flour alternative, please read the label and not if you will need a binder. This is especially important if you are using a Gluten Free All Purpose Flour.
- Please use a granulated Sugar Alternative that measures 1:1 with sugar for best results.
- Read the labels on any alternatives that you choose to assure that it contains the products that are looking for. What I mean is that often other products, such as sugar, can be added in order to bulk up the product to make it measure 1:1 with the ingredient that you are wanting to replace.
- Lastly, read the labels on the products that you are using to note any kind of side effects or other important information such as baking customization that you may need to take.
You will also need chocolate that is low in carbohydrates or keto friendly.
Please use an Unsweetened cocoa powder can easily be found online. Also, you will need sugar free chocolate chips, which you can find here or keto friendly chocolate chips which you can find here.

How to make Keto Sugar Free Brownies
- Prep a square pan for nonstick and preheat your oven to 350. I like to use Parchment Paper
that overhangs the pan for easy removal from the pan for cutting up. - In a medium mixing bowl, use a fork or whisk to mix together your baking soda and flour alternative. Then, stir in the unsweetened cocoa powder. Set this bowl aside.
- Next, in a large mixing bowl, blend together the coconut oil and the sugar alternative. I use a paddle attachment for this. When this has blended together, you can slowly add the contents from the first bowl (flour etc) to the mixing bowl. I recommend doing this ½ at a time, stirring a bit between additions. Then add your eggs, one at a time, and your vanilla extract.
- Your batter may seem to be a bit dry so at this time add ¼ cup of the warm water, mix for about 5-10 seconds on low and then add the remainder of the water (as needed). When your batter is just blended you can fold in the chocolate chips by hand. This is a keto recipe which means that it may appear to be a bit heavier batter than the usual brownie batter.
- Bake this for 25-30 minutes. A toothpick test may give a false positive due to the chocolate chips. If the brownies do not seem to be done to the eye, you can bake them for up to 35 minutes.
- Allow these brownies to cool before slicing.

Is the picture shown of brownies made with this exact recipe? I want to use almond flour and swerve and I find that every keto "fudge brownie" recipe I try, the brownie is nothing close to fudgy.
Sugar Free Diva
Hi. I am partial to using Carbalose as my flour alternative. Thanks you!

Hello, what can I use in place of coconut oil. I can’t stand the taste of coconut
Sugar Free Diva
Hi. In a keto recipe such as this one, I would probably opt for a fat that is more solid like butter for the keto consistency. However, oil would probably work as well as far as the recipe goes. Keto recipes seem to like coconut oil probably because of it's consistency and ability to make you feel fuller faster. Thanks!
