This is a pretty easy recipe to make.
The best part is that you can make this recipe without adding a bunch of sugar to it!
 

Adding the chocolate layer to the top of this is optional.
This peanut butter bar is tasty without the topping. However, the chocolate topping does give this a great taste that is reminiscent of a certain candy.
 

You will need some special ingredients to make this recipe.

First off, you can make your own sugar free peanut butter or you can find no or low sugar peanut butter online. The recipe for sugar free graham crackers can be found here . Or if needed, you can can sub in sugar free cookies if needed.

The recipe for Sugar Free Peanut Butter Bars

First off, you can make your own sugar free peanut butter or you can find no or low sugar peanut butter online. The recipe for sugar free graham crackers can be found here . Or if needed, you can can sub in sugar free cookies if needed
 

What you will need to make this
You can make your own sugar free powdered sugar using this recipe or you can buy sugar free powdered sugar already made online. Also, you will need sugar free chocolate chips, which you can find here.
 

  • Sugar Free Peanut Butter- 2 cups. We will divide this. You can make your own sugar free peanut butter or you can find no or low sugar peanut butter online.
  • Butter- ¾ cup (1 + ½ sticks) softened to room temperature.
  • Sugar Free Powdered Sugar- 2 cups. make your own sugar free powdered sugar using this recipe or you can buy sugar free powdered sugar already made online.
  • Sugar Free Graham Crackers- 3 cups crumbled. The recipe for sugar free graham crackers can be found here .
  • Sugar Free Chocolate Chips- 1 ½ cups.Sugar free chocolate chips, which you can find here.You will need to melt these using a double boiler or in the microwave.
  • Optional- Sea Salt.

How to make Sugar Free Peanut Butter Bars

 

  • Start by prepping a 9 X 13 or similar sized pan for nonstick. Greasing it works best although, I have used parchment before (makes it easy to remove and cut!).
  • In a mixing bowl, whip together 1 ½ cups of peanut butter and the butter.
  • To the mixing bowl, add the powdered sugar a bit at a time (like in thirds), mixing between the additions. Then stir in the graham cracker crumbs.
  • Spread this mixture into your prepped baking dish, pressing it in as you go.
  • Stir together the remaining peanut butter and the melted chocolate and then pour it over the pressed peanut butter bars. Optional- sprinkle the sea salt over this. Place this into the refrigerator until hard before cutting into bars.

  • 2 cups Sugar Free Peanut Butter
  • ¾ cups Butter
  • 2 cups Sugar Free Powdered Sugar
  • 3 cups Sugar Free Graham Crackers crumbles
  • 1 ½ cups Sugar Free Chocolate Chips

Instructions

    Does not show how much peanut butter to use in original instructions. How much is mixed with chocolate?

      Hi. It's 2 cups of peanut butter that are divided. We use 1 1/2 cups in the second step of the instructions leaving us with 1/2 cup to use later on. Thanks !!
