5 Ingredient Buffalo Dip
Because good dip does not have to be hard to make.
I like that this is a great dip to share with others as well.
This buffalo dip is easier to make than I would have thought it could be.
That is because there are easy 'cheats' that make this dip easier to make.
These cheats include items that you may even have on hand at the moment.
The first cheat that you can use is for chicken breast.
While you could make your own cooked chicken breast it may be easier to use chicken breast already cooked.
Use a rotisserie chicken, chicken leftovers, or even packaged already cooked chicken.

Use on top of salads or crackers, or as a shortcut for recipes like Buffalo Chicken Dip.
The next 'cheat' is for Buffalo Wing Sauce.
Buffalo Wing Sauce already has all of the seasonings that you need to make a buffalo dip included in it. Also, there is such a variety of strengths and tastes available that you can really personalize your dip!
Sweet Baby Ray's Buffalo Wing Marinade and Sauce
A full-flavored sauce with the perfect blend of cayenne pepper and garlic, with a rich, buttery finish. This sauce clings to wings and has just the right amount of heat to keep you coming back for more.
Lastly, you will need salad dressing for this recipe.
Using a white salad dressing for buffalo dip is pretty standard. You could easily use ranch dressing and add a bit of blue cheese as a topping to the dip. However, many folks like to use blue cheese dressing.
Blue Cheese Dressing.
About the product
Wish-Bone Chunky Blue Cheese is a creamy combination of blue cheese dressing with chunks of blue cheese for a rich, flavorful addition to any salad or dip.
Great for dipping
No high fructose corn syrup
This recipe also calls for cream cheese.
You will need one eight ounce package. Be sure to allow your cream cheese to soften before you use it. When you allow your cream cheese to soften, it is easier to blend with the other ingredients.
There are a couple of variations that you can use in this recipe.
First off, use beer (lager has a great taste in this recipe) instead of the Buffalo Wing Sauce. Also, another variation could be using crab meat, lobster, or a similar poultry instead of chicken!
Make this dip in a slow cooker!
You can make this dip in a slow cooker by placing the ingredients in the slow cooker and setting the cooker on low until it bubbles. You can use a slow cooker liner and also top with blue cheese chunk for serving. Also, I would recommend stirring the dip occasionally while it cooks.
