Easy Fudge Keto Low Carb Brownies

A delicious tasting brownie recipe that is especially friendly to keto and low carb diets.

I really like the flavor of these brownies have even without all of the added sugar!

Did you try my recipe for the Best Sugar Free Brownies?

That very popular recipe is a sugar free brownie with an option for low carb diets.
This recipe however, is really intended for low carb and keto diets.

I am always looking for the perfect way to store my food. Luckily, I found these genius ideas for food storage which may also be helpful for you!

You may be wondering is keto better than low carb.

While they are very similar diets (low in carbohydrates), keto and low carb diets to differ.
The good news is that recipes such as this one, work for both keto and low carb diets.

While not a big difference there is a difference between keto and low carb diets.

A low carb diet focuses on carbohydrates that may be from protein as well as fats.
In the keto diet, carbohydrates are more restricted as is protein too.

This recipe is especially for anyone asking how do you make Keto brownies from scratch.

To be honest, it really is not hard to make keto brownies from scratch.
What is important however, is that you use keto diet friendly ingredients when you do make these brownies.

It really is all about using keto friendly ingredients when you make these brownies.

Unlike regular brownies, we will use a keto friendly alternative to all purpose flour.
Also, when you choose your sweetener, choose one that is keto friendly, such as truvia sweet complete.

Here are some tips for making brownies.

I just mentioned that it is important that you use a keto friendly sugar alternative such as truvia sweet complete. If you decide to use another sugar alternative, make sure that it measures 1:1 with sugar and can be baked with.

Here are some more helpful tips.

  1. My favorite tip when it comes to brownies, is to add keto and sugar free chocolate chips for an additional chocolatey texture and taste. Chocolate chips will also make these even more fudgy too.
  2. This recipe for keto brownies is made with almond flour. Make sure that you are using a blanched almond flour rather than almond meal for best results and texture.
  3. Also, this recipe works best when you do not use a mixer and rather mix the batter by hand instead. This is because you do not want to over-mix this as doing so could ruin that density that makes these brownies so fudge-like.

How to store keto brownies.

These brownies should be stored in an airtight container and if cut, stored with parchment paper separating the pieces. They should keep for a couple of days at room temperature if stored correctly or for up to six months in the freezer (defrost before serving).

The recipe for Easy Fudge Keto Low Carb Brownies

I mentioned above that this recipe for keto brownies is made with almond flour. Make sure that you are using a blanched almond flour rather than almond meal for best results and texture.

Also mentioned, was that the batter used in these brownies should not be overmixed.

For best results, mix the batter by hand using a whisk. Also, simply mix until just blended as introducing additional air can alter the fudgy consistency of these brownie's.
