This is a great recipe for anyone, including me, who likes both shrimp and tacos.
However, followers of a low carb lifestyle could certainly enjoy this recipe as well.
One of the biggest drawbacks of eating tacos for many of us is the carbohydrates that are in the tacos.
However, since I recently posted a recipe for Keto Low Carb Tortillas, eating has certainly improved. Especially for those of us in the world of low carb or ketoeating.
While you could use Keto Low Carb Tortillas to make these shrimp tacos, here are a couple of other ideas for you.

My recommended seasoning is Trader Joe's Chili Lime Seasoning.

The recipe for Easy Low Carb Shrimp Tacos
You can use my Keto Low Carb Tortillas to make these shrimp tacos. However, you could also try my Cauliflower Tortilla Wraps. Other options include my Keto Low Carb Flatbread recipe or you can find low carb tortillas online..
What you will need to make this
As mentioned, my recommended seasoning is Trader Joe's Chili Lime Seasoning.
- Oil- 1 tablespoon olive preferred.
- Garlic- 2 cloves minced.
- Trader Joe's Chili Lime Seasoning.- 1 ½ teaspoons.
- Lime Juice- ½ to 1 tablespoon depending on what you prefer for taste.
- Shrimp- 1 lb peeled and deveined. I recommend medium or large shrimp.
- Low Carb Tortillas- 4. See post for details on how to make your own or buy low carb tortillas online.
- Cilantro, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream etc as needed for serving.
How to make Easy Low Carb Shrimp Tacos
- In a large zip top bag, combine together the olive oil, garlic, Trader Joe's Chili Lime Seasoning, and lime juice. Mix this together in the bag- shaking the ingredients should work. Then add the shrimp to the bag and shake it around again to get the shrimp well covered by the contents of the bag. place the bag in the refrigerator for at least a half hour to allow it to marinate.
- When you are ready to cook the shrimp, preheat your skillet on medium heat. Then pour the contents of the bag into the skillet and cook the shrimp until opaque. Be sure to stir the ingredients often.
- Transfer the shrimp to the prepared tortillas. Add the cilantro, lettuce and tomatoes as desired. Top with sour cream or desired sauces.
