- Baking Soda. The leavener used in this cake recipe.

- Sugar Alternative Brown Sugar Alternative and White Granulated Sugar Alternative.
- Eggs. Use large eggs that are at room temperature.
- Vanilla Extract. Added for flavor balance.
- Bananas. Your bananas should be mashed.

- Butter. Softened to room temperature.
- Milk. Whole milk is preferred.

- Prepare. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF and prep a 9x13" cake pan for nonstick. Also, whisk together the flour and baking soda in a small bowl.
- Cream. Beat together the butter with you sugar alternatives on low medium speed until creamy and smooth (about three to five minutes). Then add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat for another minute for the eggs to incorporate.
- Bananas. Stop the mixture and scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add the mashed bananas and the milk to the mixing bowl and beat on low until just combined. Scrape down the sides of your bowl again.
- Dry Ingredients. Add the dry ingredients from the first step to the mixing bowl and mix until just combined.
- Bake. Transfer the cake batter to your prepared baking pan, evenly spreading it out. Then bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan (about 30-40 minutes).
- Frosting. To make the frosting simply whisk together the ingredients until smooth enough to spread over your cake. You can make adjustments to the consistency if needed by adding additional sugar alternative or milk.
