Tips for making the best easy microwave peanut butter fudge.
When selecting your peanut butter, look for a creamy peanut butter that has no added sugar in it. I would avoid 'natural' or 'organic' peanut butter as they tend to be too thick or oily for the texture that is needed in a recipe such as this one.
More helpful tips for you.
- I like to whisk or sift my powdered sugar for a recipe such as this one first. This helps break up any clumps while making it easier to blend the sugar with the other ingredients.
- Using a microwave-safe bowl is essential for this recipe. I like to use a microwave-safe bowl with a spout to make this recipe even easier.
- When lining your baking dish with parchment paper, make sure that your parchment paper overhangs the sides of the dish. This will make it easier to lift the set fudge out of the baking dish for slicing into servings.
- Top your tasty fudge with sugar free sprinkles, sugar free chocolate chips or peanuts for added flavor and for a nice presentation.
- Once your fudge cools to room temperature, you can freeze it to help it set faster.
- To slice your fudge more easily you can heat your knife (warm water and then dried) or spray it with bit of nonstick first.
