People often ask what are coconut balls made of.
The bulk of this recipe is coconut.
You can use shredded coconut or flaked coconut as long as the coconut has not been sweetened.

The coconut is mixed with the other ingredients that add flavor and texture.
It is then topped with the sugar free chocolate.
What is the difference between shredded and flaked coconut?
In this recipe you can use either flaked or shredded coconut.
You can eve use a combination of the two choices.
What makes this candy so tasty is the coconut mixed with the other ingredients.
In this recipe the main difference between shredded and flaked coconut is that the flaked coconut is larger.
The result of the larger coconut is really more about structure than about flavor.
