This is a simple yet, delicious sugar free recipe for fudge.

I like that there is actually fruit in this fudge recipe!

Did you try my Fabulous Sugar Free Fudge recipe?

That recipe for sugar free fudge has been very popular with my readers.
This recipe however, will really please both the sugar free folks and the vegan fols!

I am always looking for the perfect idea for food storage. Check out these Genius Ideas for Food Storage which may inspire you too!

This recipe is especially for anyone asking what is vegan fudge made of.

It is not uncommon for fudge to be made with dairy products or similar non-vegan ingredients. I know that using condensed milk, cream cheese, and even butter are commonly used in making fudge.

However, this vegan and sugar free fudge does not include any of those dairy ingredients in it.

As a matter of fact, you may be surprised at the one ingredient that is added to this recipe to give it that 'fudge-like' texture. Did I mention that it is fruit?!

This recipe is also for anyone asking how do you make sugar free fudge from scratch.

Yes, this is a vegan recipe. However, this delicious fudge recipe is also sugar free.
You will not even need to add any sugar alternative in this recipe as well.

To make this recipe sugar free, you will need to use sugar free ingredients.

Also, to make this vegan, you will need to use vegan ingredients.
I am mentioning this as a reminder to read the ingredient labels on the ingredients that you choose for your fudge.

Here are some tips for making fudge.

I just mentioned that it is important to read the labels on the ingredients that you are using. This is especially true if you are wanting to stick to a sugar free and/or vegan diet.

Here are some more helpful tips.

    1. This fudge calls for sugar free almond butter. You can find sugar free almond butter online or make sugar free almond butter using this recipe. I have not tried using another nut butter.
    2. The chocolate in this recipe comes from chocolate chips. You can find sugar free chocolate chips here (some are vegan too!). Vegan chocolate chips can be found here.
    3. The chocolate chips can be melted in the microwave or on the stove. If you are using the microwave method, please be sure to stop and stir the chocolate every 30 seconds. Stove top chocolate melting works best using a double boiler. Following these chocolate melting precautions will help to insure that your chocolate melted evenly and stays together without burning.

You may be wondering how long can you store fudge.

If stored in a covered air tight container in the refrigerator, your fudge should keep for about for a week. However, you can also freeze your fudge in properly wrapped for up to 2 months (individual works best!).

The recipe for Easiest Sugar Free Fudge 4 Ingredients

I mentioned above that it is important to read the labels on the ingredients that you are using. This is especially true if you are wanting to stick to a sugar free and/or vegan diet.

Also mentioned that this fudge recipe should store well for you.

If stored in a covered air tight container in the refrigerator, your fudge should keep for about for a week. However, you can also freeze your fudge in properly wrapped for up to 2 months (individual works best!).

Ingredients needed to make four ingredient sugar free fudge.

    • Sugar Free Chocolate Chips- 2 cups. You can find sugar free chocolate chips here (some are vegan too!). Vegan chocolate chips can be found here.
    • Sugar Free Almond Butter- 1 cup. You can find sugar free almond butter online or make sugar free almond butter using this recipe. I have not tried using another nut butter.
    • Vanilla Extract- 1 teaspoon.
    • Banana- 1, mashed. For best results, use an overripe banana to make this recipe for fudge!
    • Optional- nuts such as almonds. Chopped or as preferred.

How to make Easiest Sugar Free Fudge 4 Ingredients

    • Prepare a square baking pan for nonstick. I suggest using parchment paper that overlaps the pan itself. That will make it easier for you to lift the fudge out of the pan to serve.
    • Melt the chocolate using a microwave safe bowl. Start by melting the chocolate on high, stopping to stir every thirty seconds and stirring. After the first minute microwave in ten second increments and stirring until melted.
    • Alternatively, you can use a double boiler to melt the chocolate on the stove. Simply place the chocolate chips in the top of the double boiler over barely simmering water. This method keeps the chocolate away from direct heat, which allows it to melt at a low enough temperature to prevent scorching and separating. Do not forget to stir or whisk the melting chocolate.
    • Remove the chocolate from the heat and stir in the remaining ingredients. Then evenly distribute the fudge into your prepped pan. Feel free to add optional nuts. Also, using a rubber spatula on its backside is an easy way to press the fudge into the pan.
    • Freeze until firm, about two hours. leftovers covered in the refrigerator for 1 week or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
