This pizza recipe is especially for anyone asking who has the lowest carb pizza?
As someone who has searched and tried, I must say that it is hard to find a low carb pizza freshly baked for you. However, you may be able to find frozen pizzas at the grocery store that claim to be low in carbs (please check the ingredient lists on those pizzas!).
The good news is that it is not all that hard to make your own lowest carb pizza.
Simply make the dough and put the toppings on top before baking the pizza.
I like that I can add any kind of a low carbohydrate topping to personalize my pizza too!

We know that regular dough is made with flour and yeast along with a few other ingredients depending on what that dough is intended to be used for. Fathead dough however, is a bit different.
Fathead dough is friendly to gluten free, keto, and low carbohydrate diets.
In this recipe we will use the fathead dough as a crust.

- Fathead dough can be sticky to work with. Apply a small amount of oil to your hands before working with fathead dough to make it easier to work with. Refrigerating the dough may help it be easier to work with too. On the flip-side, heating the dough for a 10-15 seconds can help it become easier to work with too.
- Yes, you can get away with making your pizza on a simple baking sheet. However, sometimes when I want a more crisp crust, I prepare my pizza on parchment paper and then transfer the pizza on the sheet to the oven for baking. The parchment paper makes it so easy to transfer the pizza in and out of the oven and then cut into pieces on.
- Pizza or tomato sauce does come with carbohydrates. You can skip the sauce, use only a little bit of sauce, or use a lower in carbohydrate pizza sauce for your pizza. I also have an easy sauce recipe just below these tips.
How to make a low carb pizza sauce.
In a small sauce pan on low-medium, sauté one clove or a teaspoon of minced garlic for one minute. Then add a cup of tomato sauce or puree along with two teaspoons of Italian seasonings (salt and pepper to taste) along with one to two teaspoons (sugar equivalent) of sugar alternative . Cook until thickened and allow to cool.

Sometimes pizza sauce can have more carbohydrates in it than you may think. However, I have provided an easy lower carbohydrate sauce recipe above if you choose to add sauce.
Also mentioned above, keto low carb dough can be tricky to work with.
I find that using a bit of oil or nonstick on my hands helps me control the dough. You can also refrigerate it for a few minutes.
Ingredients needed to make Easy Keto Sheet Pan Pizza.
- Fathead Dough- 1. I suggest that you make this dough just before using it in this recipe because it will be easier to work with.
- Low Carb Pizza Sauce- 1 cup. I have provided an easy lower carbohydrate sauce recipe above.
- Toppings such as pepperoni, mushrooms, garlic, or your favorite cooked meat.
- Mozzarella Cheese- 1 cup shredded. Using sliced mozzarella is also an option.
- Seasonings as desired. This can include Italian Seasonings, Salt, and/or Pepper.
How to make Easy Keto Sheet Pan Pizza
- Make the fathead dough as described in this recipe.
- Place the fathead dough on a large piece of parchment paper on a rimmed sheet pan. Then place another piece of parchment paper on top of the dough. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out between the two pieces of parchment paper. The use a fork to poke holes in the dough so the dough doesn’t rise.
Bake in a preheated oven on 350° for 6-8 minutes or golden brown. - Next, take the crust out of the oven and add on your favorite pizza toppings and seasonings. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes until the cheese is golden brown. Serve warm or cool. Store in an airtight container or zip top bag.
