    • Bananas- mashed.
    • Almond Flour
    • Ground Cinnamon
    • Baking Powder
    • Erythritol Sweetener
    • Canola Oil .
    • Eggs
    • Vanilla Extract
    • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder .

    How to make Sugar Free Banana Bread

    1. Preheat your oven to 325 and prep a loaf pan well for nonstick.
    2. In a medium bowl, use a whisk or a fork to blend together the almond flour, cinnamon, and baking powder.
    3. Next, in a mixing bowl, beat together the sweetener and the oil until creamy. Then add the eggs and the vanilla extract. Mix until blended.
    4. To add the dry ingredients from the first bowl, use a spatula and fold in the dry ingredients adding cup at a time. Remove half of the batter and place it into a separate bowl. Then mix in the unsweetened cocoa powder with the batter that you just placed in the new bowl.
    5. Distribute half of the remaining batter from the first bowl (the batter without the cocoa added to it) evenly along the bottom of the prepared loaf pan. Next, place the batter with the cocoa powder on top of the bottom layer. Lastly, place the remaining batter on top of the cocoa batter layer. Gently shaking the pan will help to evenly distribute the layers however, it is desirable to have a fun layer with the cocoa to give this bread a marble look.
    6. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before removing. Then allow it to finish cooling on a wire rack before slicing.

    Tips for making the best low carb bread.

    The secret to making a successful banana bread is baking it slowly to keep the moisture intact. To ensure that your bread has plenty of moisture, you can also lightly cover or tent it with aluminum foil during the last 15-20 minutes of baking.

    1. The best bananas to use for a recipe such as this one is to use older and more ripe bananas. These bananas are easier to mash which is nice.
    2. Using fresh ingredients is essential for a recipe such as this one. This is especially true for your dry ingredients such as your baking powder.
    3. Make this marble bread even more tasteful. Add an additional tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder (you may need to adjust the wet ingredients).
    4. Since this recipe has 12 servings (give or take depending on how you slice it) each slice has about 2 net grams from bananas in it.

     

    How to store banana bread.

    Once it has fully cooled, this bread should be stored in an airtight container or wrapped well. Banana bread tends to be a more moist bread so I like storing it with a paper towel around or with it.
    This bread should keep for up to five days in a refrigerator or even longer if frozen.
