The recipe for Sugar Free Nut Butter Dip
While peanut butter is the most common nut butter to use in a recipe such as this one, I suggest that you check out other nut butters. I like a sugar free cashew butter or mixed nut butter for example in this recipe.
This recipe also calls for sugar free maple syrup as a sweetener.
Feel free to use the sugar alternative liquid sweetener of your choice instead of the maple syrup. You may need to make adjustments as needed to get the right flavor.
Ingredients needed to make nut butter dip.
- Greek Yogurt- 1 cup. Full fat is really encouraged for the best texture in a dip. However, you can use a lower fat or alternative as needed for your diet or preferences. Earlier I mentioned that you can use a keto plain yogurt (check your local grocery store), plain Greek yogurt, or a vegan yogurt alternative that has no added sugar (many are low in carbs!).
- Sugar Free Peanut or other Nut Butter- ¼ cup. You can use sugar free peanut butter or organic peanut butter which is usually without sugar work. Sugar free cashew butter or mixed nut butter could work in this recipe.
- Sugar Free Maple Syrup- 2 tablespoons. If you use an alternative, make sure that it measures the same as the sugar free maple syrup or consider adding a tablespoon at a time and making adjustments as needed.
- Vanilla Extract- ½ teaspoon.
How to make peanut butter yogurt dip.
